Giffy and the Sea People: Book 4 of the Drakenaarde Chronicles
“Giffy needs to be on land, where he can run and climb and…” Jake paused.
“And do target practice!” Giffy finished for him, beaming his biggest grin.
Giffy’s best days include climbing trees, stalking small game, and peeing in the woods. (He’s a crack shot.) Giffy is a survival expert – on land. But none of his bushcraft skills translate to the bottom of the ocean.
Giffy has been through a lot in his eight-ish years. He’s been orphaned, got his teeth kicked in, and worked for a brutish child-trader. His ship came in when he met Xander, Jake, and their friends. But now Giffy has been kidnapped, and he has no idea if his mates even know where he is, much less how to rescue him. And that isn’t even the biggest problem in Drakenaarde. Someone has opened an enchanted gate, and an ancient monster threatens destruction of Biblical proportions.
The superstitious Sea People believe there is only one way to stop the monster: a blood sacrifice. Giffy will need all his survival instincts to turn the tide, but it will take more than fierce love and fearless determination to save his friends before everyone is sunk.
